In November 2013 my husband and I bought a little cabin in the woods to be our primary residence. We love the tiny, intimate spaces of our tiny cabin (large homes near give me a panic attack). We love the small mountain community with close access to all-things-outdoors. My challenge, however, is making a home out of a weekender cabin. What worked in a weekender may not work for everyday life. Not that I would have it any other way, but this portion of my blog is dedicated to my ongoing projects for our mountain retreat that we like to call home.
